You sound like my brother... he has storage box after storage box full of DVDs.
I wish I had all the VHS tapes I used to have on DVD; I especially miss Strange Days sometimes, and a Siouxie and the Banshees music video compilation.
Although to be fair it probably still wouldn't reach your numbers. LoL
Im a sucker for good movies, and a sale lol. If I knew it was a damn good movie, I would buy it within the first 2 weeks it hit Walmart, cause it was on sale then, and then the price would increase. Also, Kroger use to have family movie promotions, where you bought a movie on sale, PLUS it would come with stuff, for free, like popcorn and a 2 liter. I got a whole lot of my movies from Movie Starz when they use to be around, and they would have a Sidewalk Sale. Movies be a few dollars each, and I would load up like 5-10 of 'em lol. Also, Walmart has that $5 movie bin, and some times you'll find one that has several movies on it. Like I got 4 Clint Eastwood movies for $10 recently. In their $7.50 bin, they had 10 movies in the package, but I already owned 7 of them or so lol, and the others were shit lol.
I love buying movies, wish I had bought more over time, cause these streaming services limit what they want you to see, and now you cant find a lot of movies. When I own a movie, I can watch it whenever I want.
Dude!!!! I still got my VHS player lol. AND, when my Dad died, I inherited his VHS to DVD burning system. Havent tried it out yet, but I got it set up.
I dont have many of my VHS movies left. A box full. I still got my tapes where I had a Hotel party at the age of 18 and recorded it lol, and one from my 21st birthday party lol. I rented one of them big ass camcorders from Lee Hartman lol. Felt rich lololol. They were expensive.
I got one movie, I wanna watch, for shits and giggles, super lit, from my childhood, called Mio in the land of Faraway. You prolly never heard of it. My Grandma bought it for me when I was younger. It has a kid Christian Bale in it lol. And Christoper Lee. Can you imagine, high as fuck, watching this VHS, hahahaha........
