I don't think the USA actually wants invade and take over Canada because it acts as a Buffer state against potential nuclear warheads coming from Russia, China or elsewhere @Big Sexy



If the missiles are fired, they'll likely pass over the Arctic in Canada which of course will be shot down by a defense shield devised by the United States. Meanwhile, all that radioactive dust will fall on Canada instead of the United States.

I'm sure Americans which much rather Canada absorb the brunt of those attacks than the United States.

From a strategic military standpoint alone there simply is no advantage for the United States to take over Canada.

99% of the Country is covered in snow at least 6 months of the year or more.

No fun to invade this place.

Heck, there aren't even any women to rape.

Nothing to steal except our snow.

The Invaders would be sorely disappointed.

Lotsa wildlife tho.

Invading soldiers can mate with moose, bear whatever.
