Yeah...it kinda is Lex
@The Prowler.
What did you have in mind...Fort Knox?!?
It's akin to you buying yer fancy Corvette instead of 100 rebuilt engines stacked in yer garage and driveway.
Now...if yer car is worth $100,000 and those rebuilt engines are worth the equivalent of $100,000 at $1000 each, what would you rather have? Your nice Corvette or a bunch of dirty greasy engines sprawled over yer yard and front lawn?
and let's say you had your Corvette and those 100 engines and somebody offered to pay you FMV for those engines.
Would you keep those engines or perhaps sell them and use the money to buy another shiny new Corvette?
same idea, eh?
BTW, I've seen a lotta people in the burbs like that.
They got all these old used cars, engines and car parts strewn around their yards.
But it might make more sense to sell some of it and get the finer things in life, eh Prowler?
I actually no longer wanted 100s of ounces of Silver.
It made sense to sell off most of it, consolidate them into something convertible and smaller like a few ounces of Gold
Same as idea as choosing between 100 car engines or a brand new car of equal value.
What would you prefer?
