Cute overload first thing in the morning lol. Just use the dog crate, as long as she isn't walking in her poop the only difference is that you know its a dog crate. :)

I thought about keeping her in the crate, but I'd like to have a nice bird cage where her space it taller. So she can be up higher and feel more confident. Have more perches and dangle toys.

Ive seen some pretty good set ups in dog crates for birds though. We will see. Im in no rush.

This was supposed to be temporary. Get her healed and healthy and release her. But its way too cold and shitty out and id feel like a monster and everyone in the pigeon group I joined said she will likely come back A LOT so I may as well keep her and take care of her.

The though of her sitting at the window wanting to come back in for food and warmth just hurts my heart lol.

A USB powered mosquito zapper, a USB c to hdmi hub, various retro peripheral cord/connections to suit the last 20+ years.

I'm chucking the old ones out that have become powdery/brittle from age and disuse, and organizing everything in a soft case.

A 2026 GMC Terrian (?). It's one of the only cars my man actually fits in comfortable as he is 6'7 lol

It must be strange sight to see a small petite woman & a very large man walking beside each other.

I liked Johnny Bower Lex @The Prowler. I remember him in the twilight of his career. I saw him play his last playoff game against Boston in 1969. He was the 3rd Star in a losing effort. Bobby Orr was too much for the aging Leafs including Bower.

The only things I have are hockey cards of his.

One when he was rookie New York Ranger & the other when he was veteran Toronto Maple Leaf.

...a used laptop for FREE.

Someone in the building threw it out, so I decided to pick it up.

QuadCore I7, just upgraded it to Windows 10

I listened to @MANCID RILKO & avoided Windows 11.

Works good. Has a separate empty partition to install Linux.

any suggestions on the best Linux distro to install on 10-15 year old SAMSUNG laptop, Mancid/Rancid?

Findings like that here are a real treasure

Usually people find machines that deserve a second chance on recycling centers

Putting a computer on the curb here means it'll be picked up quickly

Its actually better made than todays computers and the parts in it are expensive. includes a cd dvd rom which they dont include on most laptps or desktops anymore. Feels solid like a brick that could last another 10 to 15 years. Other than cosmetics I don't see mych difference between computers and software today vs 10-15 years ago.

Just like cars, the days of DIY computers are numbered @MANCID RILKO
