Tonight is my semi-annual steak dinner.
. Plenty garlic and butter in the broiler.
Coincidentally I just found out today is St Patrick's Day.
St Patrick is the patron saint of drunkards so I will be dining in so none of the amateurs out there will barf on my boots. We have already seen enough barfing in the SB by that BrokeFailure guy from Ass'raaaahlyeh.
I may have a little bourbon though.
Also, and again coincidentally, the first of the NCAA basketball play-in games are today, so that will be nice. There should be a lotta scoring.

I had a Gurkha Rifle curry, Bombay Aloo, Mushroom rice, fish pakora and some Nepalese lemon flavoured curry Himchuli chicken.

Having been to about 100 curry houses in my life I would rate 5 good/excellent. Once you eat in them you no longer tolerate slop. This is one of them.

Tonights either Cheese burger n chips or Chinese takeaway. No cooking anything this week lol.

Broccoli as a side dish is fine, its full of good stuff and you get your greens plus cheese goes with both. I had some in a veg curry the other day.

I just looked it up.... "Contorni" are Italian side dishes which can accompany pasta main dishes. Blanched broccoli is one popular choice listed. I must have picked up that dietary habit when I was a kid living amongst Italians and eateries.

So.... Fred must be weird. Lol
