It is true.

You can never trust a dog.

Don't tell me it's the spare room where you put your poor unsuspecting guests up. Prowler!

That room is a guest room for a specific guest who loves our dog.

We keep the dog out of the other guest room in case we have company who is allergic...

I pointed out that Holiday is an idiot in another thread so, of course, he is going to follow me like a puppy dog into other threads.

I've only lived in homes where the pets were cats Lex @The Prowler .

Therefore Dog Etiquette & how owners ought to treat dogs is something I'm not familiar with. However after seeing that video I can understand now why dog owners often yell at their dogs.

"Lucy! Stop! Sit down!....Lucy . ..Sit!"

That's what my friend says (shouts) when I visit him. And it's actually his wife who manages to discipline the dog which appears to be the only person it listens to and respects. She grew up on a farm with dogs she knows how to deal with them.

By comparison cats seem easy to deal with. about the worst they do is jump on the counter or scratch the furniture or the owner occasionally.

Better a few scratches than gettin' ones face bitten/chewed off by a dog eh? lol

The best way to earn the respect and trust from a dog is to yell at it like an unhinged lunatic.

Being calm and assertive will make them think you are a pussy and they are probably going to do what they always wanted to do and eat your face.
