On YouTube there is a video of a guy who bought an old boat, sanded it and refinished it, installed a second hand electric motor to it and now he has a fishing boat all for around $600. It isn't great but he bought a trailer at harbor freight for $100 and now he has a decent fishing boat for cheap.
