Look, if you want everyone to be comfortable with open carry, then we need MANY MORE people open carrying. People see one random dude walking down the street with a gun they've all been taught to fear, they're gonna freak out. I GUARANTEE you, I could walk around my own neighborhood with one of my AR's strapped to my back and the cops would have me cornered within 5 minutes. I had the barrel and slide off my CZ-75 pistol out in the garage removing the copper from the barrel with a very noxious chemical and I was concerned that a nosy neighbor would freak out. Statements on open carry are best made in an organized group with advanced warning to the cops. A single dude is asking for harassment.
