It's not the pandemic. Its the politcal and sexual grooming and brainwashing.

Schools have been hotbeds for politcal drama and infested with activists and people dont want it.

Well @Oerdin in Canada the same thing is probably going on too. When I was a contractor with the public school system, the teachers were awarding themselves more time/days off. Spring break got extended from 1 week to 2. And the classes were staffed with more teaching assistants. So in reality the public school teachers teach less, work less for a 4% guaranteed annual wage increase. Here a ft teacher makes at least $40 Canadian or $30 usd per hour. Enough for a decent middle class income + thousands of dollars in extended medical benefits. And they are eligible for unemployment benefits during the summer break.

Thing is they sure didn't fight for nor pass any of them on to us private contractors. We had our hours cut back as the teachers worked less but got paid more. So many of us just quit. Now they have a shortage and can't find anyone who wants to do those jobs.

So if public school teachers end up getting laid off, I could care less. They've done it to themselves. And yes parents have options now and the public school system has competition.
