I mainly just wanted a better lens than what my base 13 cam. had, it took great pics but the zoom was limited

I don’t really zoom in. I’m an extend your arm and take the shot before the event kinda girl.

Eventually, Apple will make me a new phone offer that cannot be refused.

I've always let my cats sleep in our room. When I went through my divorce and had the sads, they'd come to comfort me. One on the top of my head and the other on my feet. Cats are more intuitive than most people think.

My guy, as much as he loves cats, doesn't want them in the room. He's asthmatic though and he doesn't want to deal with the dander in the bedroom.

Oh man.....thats gonna be so hard on them. They don't understand at all why they've been banned from the human bed.

And all animals hate being closed out of the bedroom.

Prudey and Eddie have territory spats over the bedroom here.....Eddie wins. He has been here much longer.

Sometimes Prudence gets into the bed by my boyfriends head. Or on the other side of me and Eddie doesn't care...it's really about Eddie's mood.

My boyfriend? Hates cats. I know. And I actually hate people that hate cats. BUT him and I have been in eachothers lives a long time.....we are best friends..we adore eachother.....so he accepts my cat and I let him rant about hating cats lol.

He hates cats because his mom always had them but she didn't keep up with them as well so sometimes they pissed on his clothes and one time he grabbed a shirt and threw it on and didn't know the cat pissed on it. Until he got on the bus and smelled it. He was MORTIFIED. And it was like....5th grade where kids are sensitive to social criticism.

His mother's attitude was basically "oh well you should have smelled it first" and that was his villain arch...if you will....where the hatred of cats began.

That being said....I've seen him reach out to give Prudey scritches and tickles and he has even held her. I never point it out....I just let it be lol.

He let's her in the bedroom and in the bed if she can get past Eddie.

He may learn to like them eventually.

My cats are spoiled rotten, if this is the worst they deal with in their lives, they'll be okay.

They sleep together on a round cat bed. Like ying and yang.

Did I mention that he is terrified of the rabbit?

My dog killed a rabbit in our backyard within a week of living here.

I am not sure what he would be like now if we told him not to kill a rabbit that seemed like a pet....but I sure would not let him near a rabbit unless he had a muzzle and was really calm...

Possibly the program started out just neutering male cats as the surgery is much less invasive and much quicker.

Nah, it's definitely a symptom of the rampant patriarchy that does and always has ruled the USA.

**snicker**

Seriously though, that seems backward when it's the gals who get pregnant.
They could catch all but one of the toms in an area and all of the gals are still going to be kitten factories.

Catch all but one of the gals and that's still not optimum but at least the population isn't expanding exponentially.

Maybe they just used that term because way more people know its meaning than have any clue what "spay" means?

It seems that someone knew what it meant in Howlers case. If ya know what I mean.

I suspect he does like Prudey. I woke up the other night and went to get some water. Boyfriend likes to write at night so I creeped into the office and he was writing and Prudence was all curled up sleeping next to him. He just said "she's been in here like that all night" and rubbed her head. He won't ever admit he likes her....I'm not gonna make him.

So his vitriol about cats I think is just theatrics now.

He is a Leo....and I'm a Leo. So dramatic theatrics is something I can mostly recognize lol.

The last cat he had in here was his mother's and that cat was mean as hell....they just called it "cat". It pissed on the carpet by the front door a lot.....he would get it clean...cat would piss again...it drove him absolutely crazy.

He STILL sat with her while she was dying because he didn't want it to die alone. (It died of old age)

Prudence loves sleeping in boxes. So I have three boxes out....one in each room she likes to nap in.

My boyfriend was really worried about Eddie hurting the rabbit....even if just on accident because Eddie gets so excited.

This dog is terrified of the rabbit. He cries and runs LOL

A little lionhead bunny.

I mean...his name IS Ted Bunsey....who knows what is being said in animal language lol.

Eddie is also oddly terrified of cardboard as well. Goofy ass dog. He is lab and pit mix.

Female cats can squirt out kittens like machine guns and carry babies from up to 3 different Tom's.

And males can just keep impregnating them.....so I can see logic of focusing on sterilizing the males.

While a few females are being spayed....1 male could mate with 10 females. In a day.

My last cat peed on my hockey equipment once...I mean really peed...it was all in the bag so the pee just fermented there until I played my next game. I do not know how long it was, but it was dry and just smelled of cat urine.

Whatever.

Most hockey players stink anyways.

Oh come on, that didn't get a chuckle out of ya?

Tough crowd lol.

Right his fault that the major pain in the ass is a pain in the ass whether it's meltdown, the upper boards or the SB.

He can be a fucking dick wherever and everyone else has to accommodate his jackassery.

Yeah, no.

That makes sense...but this would not be the first time people needed to make mistakes before they perfected a system. The original thinking might have been "Neuter one male, prevent 5 females from getting prego." You seem to have more confidence in people than I do...Ha!

But I do not know the history/reasoning for the less-than-perfect acronym.
