Blandy's just too clever for his own good.
He's the guy who would build a maze so extensive and convoluted that when he's finished; standing in the middle cleaning his tools and admiring his own handiwork; he'd suddenly realize he's forgotten half of the tricks and traps he'll need to employ and avoid to escape again.
As fascinating as it is to watch him ply his craft I have to admit it's a lot funnier to witness him, axe in one hand flamethrower in the other, smashing his way back through a turn of phrase that evolved to the point that it became self-aware and ultimately betrayed him for a larf.
Good times.

I wish I still had the amusing gif/webm of a couple of workmen cementing some bollards into the pavement. They were so keen to finish the job quickly that in their haste, they blocked the exit for their workvan, which was parked on the pavement. The daft twats will have had no choice but to destroy some of their handy work in order to move the van and then replace the bollards.
