You might have a point.... being frugal and depression era, one Christmas in the later 80's she bought all 31 of her grandkids matching Santa boxer shorts that would have cost maybe 50 cents apiece, then padded out of the gifts with 2 bucks (at the time) of chocolates, all wrapped up. The boxers were harsh white textured linen with little Santa's... probably from China because they hate us round eyes unless they get an opportunity to make a beautiful child with us.
My grandma had a weird sense of humour....

I like her shes got she obviously lived through a lot and it didn't break her or dull her sense of humour she had moxy and you cant buy that.

@Frood your stuff about food is pretty spot on. I spent my whole life budgeting, saving, etc. at this point I don't mind a little convenience. I live in an apt, am relatively retired and money isn't an issue for me.
You need to see what's actually happened here to appreciate that what cost a dollar in January costs 1.70 now. Across the board, pmuch with whatever you buy.
We were spending 120 every 7 or 8 days with fillins for whatever ran out. Now we spend 200 or more. Same stuff different day.

They're Factory stamped .
But that was part of the design. to give it a personalized look.

You can still find relatively inexpensive NHL personalized memorabilia for cheap @Alticus
I bought this autographed photo with Bobby Hull's signature and a COA for $30.
Try that with baseball cards and it's like several thousand or $1 million for the equivalent.
Hockey stuff is a lot more exciting and better looking anyway.
