I knew a guy who microdosed weed from his teens in the early 70's until in 2003 when he couldn't get any weed for weeks. Hardest sanest worker before. No time off ever... but he was a dangerous wreck over those weeks.

I like weed. I'll do it 1-3 times per year to excess... but my industry doesn't like it, so I need a big time off to be safe.

Most things I can do safely while stoned but running machinery is not one of them

I drive multiple things with weight behind or on it. Any accident requires drug tests.

my hubby drives truck so I understand that

I'm really good on machinery but even the smallest things can trigger a test, so I generally don't go there.

I quit smoking while I was on the edge sander and widebelt sander. The drum sander was out of the question because even sober I couldn't handle it.

I was working a temp job in the mid 90's in the US, and had smoked the night before. Craft foam joint... pattern cuttings... put half my finger through a bandsaw. Quickly taped it up in cellophane and pretended nothing was a matter. They chased me for weeks to do a drug test, but were too late. Lol

The time I shot myself with a staple gun was their fault. I wasn't tall enough for the assembly table so they had me stand on pallets and I misstepped and grazed my leg. The staple went into my sneaker sole
