Based on all I've seen and experienced of the relationship between the sexes? Men behave like brainless work animals, a fact of which women are raised to take advantage. Yoke him and put him to work in the field, seems to be the idea. Meanwhile, because they are brainless animals, then tend to wander off into other womens' "fields" if they get the chance. It's a wonderful system which evolutionary biology has handed down to us.
