I still would love to know what misinfo people are so worked up about.
No one has directly given examples nor have they corrected anything. It's basically just "omg Rogan is spreading misinfo!" and a bunch of slams on him but there is no actual conversation. No examples. No counter.
We really are becoming Idiocracy.
Rogan was fact-checked live by one of his guests. Rogan's claim (and strongly held belief) that younger people are more likely to experience myocarditis from the vaccine than they are from the virus was soundly debunked. Right then and there, during the interview, and the behest of his guest, Rogan "did his own research" and was surprised to discover that the information he'd been peddling turned out to be misinformation. Misinformation that continues to feed vaccine skepticism. Vaccine skepticism that continues to lead to unnecessary deaths.
Sure, everybody is entitled to their own opinion, but not to their own set of facts. Here, let me capitalize the word: FACTS.
And yet, in MAGA world, the sky is always green and the grass is pink.
FFS.
The issue is that Rogan isnt "peddling" anything. It's a podcast where he has conversations with people who have various opinions on various topics.
And these convos are being pushed as something more than what they are. Rogan has never once told anyone what the facts are. He just hosts and has conversations.
Who said anything about "having your own facts"? You guys are taking things so far out of context thar its hysterical.
And on that same note.....you absolutely shouldnt be taking medical advice or "facts" from anyone who isnt your doctor. So if these are the standards being used, media articles that say stupid shit like "scientists say" or "experts say" are even worse than Rogan having a neutral platform to discuss issues impacting Americans. MSNBC shouldn't be giving you guys medical information, and it looks a lot like they are.
If the shit hits the fan and you need medical intervention you go to a hospital. Not Rueters or Slate.
So maybe no media outlets should be discussing Covid and medical treatments. None of them are doctors, none of them have anyones medical info and if they are urging people to get vaccinated and someone who is contradictory to the vaccine goes to a random pharmacy and gets the vaccine and has a severe reaction to it, should CNN be held responsible? Because not everyone CAN have this shot. There ARE people who CANNOT have certain vaccines.
So maybe EVERY outlet should be shut down since no one can have their own facts. I've seen several instances of mainstream media reporting things that are flat out not true and a lot of things that have been censored as misinfo that are not misinfo.
Leftists are insufferable with this attitude that THEY know more than medical doctors because their media sources tell them what the "facts" are. And the calls for censorship due to "misinfo" is unhinged. Especailly with accusations like Rogan making up his own facts when he does absolutely no such thing. Nor does he give anyone medical advice.
Has anyone who agrees with this misinfo BS ever actually listened to him? Have you listened to his podcasts? Because he isnt doing what he is being accused of doing.
If people want medical advice and facts they need to take their curious asses to their doctor and get it right from professionals and stop pretending their preferred media sources are on the level of peet reviewed reputable medical journals. It's a level of Dunning Kruger that is insane. People cant even have conversations on podcasts where things are said that go against this weeks official narrative without being accused of witch craft and getting burned at the stake. Its ridiculous.
And Neil Young is a corporate shill who was paid by an org directly involved with pharma companies(Pfizer). He is shilling. That's just a fact. Rogan has said what his podcast is for ffs. He has never once claimed "listen to me, I have the FACTS". Its ridiculous to make those accusations. It's just a manipulative way to justify censorship.
