So I had an SSD drive which went bad on me that was holding about 200gigs of information in the form of two KVM virtual machines. I was writing code for EDR on those two windows hosts and all of the sudden the drive goes kaput!
yeah I know, why didn't I back them up. duh.
So anyway, the drive is under warranty so I RMA the fucking thing with explicit instructions that I could give the slightest fuck about the drive itself but the data on it is of paramount importance to me. It's in native linux Ext4 format so don't bother connecting it to one of your windows hosts to view the information.
So after waiting for three weeks what do these fuckers do? They send me a brand new drive. I bet the fuckers couldn't even read what I specifically wrote on the letter head I carefully wrapped and taped around the drive before packaging it.
