I think Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy was the most densely populated movie I've seen in a theater in the past 20 years and everything I've been to since then only had a few people, comparatively.

As far as packed theaters, I think Lord of the Rings was super packed. But oddly, the most packed, was going to see the first Incredible Hulk.

Use to always be packed back in the day. Miss the .99 cent theaters lol. Yeah most movies hardly anyone goes to see these days. Has to be a damn good movie for me to go see it. But I get the best value going to the Drive-In. I can see 2 movies and eat like a king, plus get high while watching them lol, for about the same price as the ticket alone at the big theaters.
