When you don't bring enough filtered water with you into a really hot long bath and you're forced to drink chlorinated tap water that leaves a nasty aftertaste.

I don't hate California my dearest. I realize California is a place loved for good weather. Which is universal to humanity. Vs loved for politics. Which is divisive to humanity.

Yaknow my liberally progressive niece mentioned to me the idea of buying & fixing up single family homes to make the neighborhood unaffordable to people who originally lived there. I.e. gentrification.

And I immediately thought of California.

California. A blue now unnaffordable place that makes fun of Arkansas which is still an affordable place.
