There have always been lots of Brazilians here. The numbers have been going way up on American immigrants the last two years, though.

This made me curious about the possibility of Spanish citizenship by ancestry.

I could apply for Spanish citizenship by descent. Wow!

If I could do it I would. I believe an EU passport is a valuable thing. I'll be eligible for citizenship here in a year and a half. I will be happy and proud to be a dual citizen.
