I never let a doctor perform any service that isn't pre-approved.
I know exactly what I'm getting into when I get into it.
Unfortunately, I just went with Cigna when UHC no longer was in the plan business that I had. Then turns out the parent company that now owns the UHC biz also owns Cigna and Cigna had many suits for denial of payment. So.....
.Gotta watch docs and ins companies like a hawk. My advice, take good care of yourself - don't get sick.

VA Health has been good to me the last several years, but the incoming goon squad makes me a little nervous on how much they succeed in fucking over veterans, as well as SSI and Medicare/Medicaid

Agreed……….I hope it is not a disgruntled person lashing out due to them or a loved one getting denied a benefit or something like that……..it’s sad that someone would be so distraught that they would take another life. I’m sure shit like that happens sometimes or it can be perceived they are getting screwed over.
