The Home Depot was out of the Xmas tree preservative that helps to extend the life of the tree but the internet says you just need water, corn syrup, a tiny amount of bleach (as a disinfectant), and a tiny amount of lemon juice (as an acidification to improve the tree's up take of water and sugar). I just did this, currently the tree seems very dry, and it was bound so tightly the branches are taking a long time to relax and lay regularly.

Yep. I've been online, in Academy Sports and at some pawn shops I know that sell ammo. Everyone is bone fucking dry. Been at the range shooting my .22 and let a few off in my new shotgun but I don't waste my .223/556....they're pretty much selling for $1+ per bullet now. Too expensive to just go range shooting with.
