No. I have a 4 and the 5 isnt backwards compatible. Not dumping good hardware I already like. and the ps+ also expands that library as well.

How am I "suffering"? You spend your money on what you like. I'll do the same.

You are in for a rude awakening unless you buy a PS5.

Not via disk but you can play 90% of ps4 games on a ps5 digitally.

for $150 extra a year, which I'm already going to spend.

Why spend an additional 600 plus when I can stream for 150? I can also use the + scrip on my 4 hardware.

Yay.... another dole dollar wasted...

...for ORIGINAL Artwork produced for a multi-billion dollar company like Disney?

Cost me $25 US @Frood or about $40 Australian?

That's actually really cheap for an original authenticated piece of art that comes with a COA from a recognized dealer, @Frood.

I wonder if that sorta thing interests @Reggie_Essent ?
Ephemera can be quite lucrative if you know what you're looking at. I once found a stash of Land Grants from the War of 1812 in an old box of trash. The Grants were signed by President James Monroe. And they didn't even have an AutoPen back then. I got about $1200 a piece for them and they didn't cost me a penny.

Another time I found a $5 dollar bill in an old book. It was an 1899 silver certificate $5 dollar bill and in pristine condition. I eventually sold it in an auction and realized a bit over $4k in pure profit.

I've never understood the appeal of paper money @Reggie_Essent. How do you know its even real? so perishable too. at least with a coin you can get them assayed for metal content which pretty well authenticates them. if the metal content is off that pretty well makes them counterfeit. Not too many fakers get them right.

That being said, paper money is an extremely lucrative hobby/pursuit.

Sometimes those old Bill's go for hundreds of thousands of dollars. I suppose theyve replaced stamps as the place to go for paper collectors

That's why it is called 'Ephemera," Joe. It's totally perishable and that's what can make it so valuable to a collector or a museum.

Old paper money, stamps, old art lithograph prints, comic books, certain old magazine publications and newspapers and even old hand written letters between private correspondents are fodder for the Collector market.

Here's something else I bought that might interest @LotusBud & @MANCID RILKO Man

A Disney production art piece in Portuguese.

Cost me a whopping $10.

That was a good deal.

I was less interested in its value than how they went from concept into print production.

Surprise how these items aren't worth much since they're 1 of a kind.

Maybe @Reggie_Essent can explain how they get the printer to transform it into color. I know they used negatives & plates but how they got the colors right remains a puzzle to me.

How did they separate the colors Reggie? Take a photo of the color key then make the negs and plates from there?
