I'm not single, Holly gay. I love cats and animals, though. 2 cats and a step dog. And a pigeon i rescued and helped. I also have a man who adores me and im not at a loss of opportunities either.

It's always bizzare when a man is all mad and upset and starts telling a woman, who is objectively attractive, has a wonderful, healthy relationship (with A LOT of sex, at that) and gets approached on a regular basis that she's ugly and no one wants her...boo hoo.

I mean what's the desired outcome here? Do you think all that affection, adoration i receive from the man in my life and the attention and compliments i still get is all gonna vanish and I'm going to be like "Oh gawd....oh noes....im all old and no one wants me! Oh dear! The old gay angry guy who gets enraged at my politcal stances said it so its absolutely TRUE! Oh god he is gonna accuse me of defending myself!! I should go collect cats and forget my partner and tell men who approach me that they can't possibly want me because im just sooooo ugly and undesirable!!"

It's interesting how men always bank on the pretty women being vain and insecure. And how they cling to it so hard.

Bunch of online groceries. I fill out the shopping list before the specials run ends for the week, then submit it on the last night but date delivery days in the future if the new catalogue isn't as impressive (which is often the case).

A bunch of stuff and a satchel to get my youngest home from school in the city should she have to walk 8-10 hours.

Poncho, mylar blankets, small water filter, 5 litre bag, parrot cutter, small gauge rope, snacks, small bills and change, torch, spare batteries, local map, compass, lighter, firestarter, steel cup, tin of oil soaked cotton balls, some bandaids and OTC meds.... plus a couple of year long charge locator beacons which I stitched in the bottom of the small bag.

You know... the basics.

Bunch of cheap USB power supply single (small) LED plug in nubs in various colours..... though mostly red to not attract mosquitos (some different white and blue hues though).

They operate on virtually no power draw and illuminate each room enough to move around in the dark after bedtime. I'm looking for ways to cut down on utility bills now that everything has begun exploding in cost.

Also did a 780 buck worth online supermarket shop to be delivered today. Gamed the system down to 530 bucks though. Almost all pantry non perishable items which we use daily or weekly. That should keep us going for a number of months, alongside the garden and friends who we trade stuff with.

It will be necessary to put a timer in the bathroom for the girls though... 20-25 minute long hot showers will be ending this week. They'll get 3-4 minutes. It's not a health retreat or spa!

In our older houses, the bathroom is separate from the toilet. It's still much the case... think dunny or shithouse in a small corner of the house with baffle glass vents and an insect screen... it's part of the house aka inside and hooked to plumbing, yet separate from showering/bathing/sink facilities.

It doesn't help if you feel the sudden need to drop a deuce while showering though.

It's give and take though... if I'm on the shitter when my daughter says "when are you going to be done?" I tell her to piss outside in our bushes if she can't wait.... or sit on the drain side of the tub and rinse on high blast afterwards.

I love that kid to hell and back.... she's got true pioneer spirit. You can't buy that...

I try to stick to demi and semi-permanents. You may have to color frequently or add some to your shampoo. Pros: It causes less damage, if any. Cons: your color might bleed every single time it gets wet. If you think about it let me know how the gloss works for you. I did go with permanent color this time, fucking turned carrot orange instead of cherry red. So again, my last purchase was hair dye lmao. It only takes about 9 months to wash out black dye fully, so the 45 minute bleach bath wasn't needed.
