I didn't think I went overboard. No need to talk down to me, I'm not a child. Never overexplain. Just state why it was moved and if there will be further consequences for noncompliance. Refuse to debate your decision and carry on. You're gonna feel compelled to respond to this comment, don't. I don't come here often enough to remember every single rule

I'm not here to do that. I know this is Bastard Factory, and I'm a nice person depending on how you treat me. That's my flaw but it works for me. I like Atticus, just giving him some tips that I learned the hard way as and admin of my own board. Info works for mods too.

Reminds me of my early moderating days at Biggie's old board called "D'Outskirtz". A bunch of old Trollvalhalians joined the board and made it a point of harassing me by making posts that were "on the line" or just over it and when I moved or deleted them they'd challenge me and I'd get caught up in it like a fish in a net.

As you said, silent and levelheaded moderation or a brief explanation is more than enough, anything else is an exercise in futility and gives the trolls the upper hand.
