They are doing super good. The orange one had a mild respiratory infection (so common in outdoor kittens) so I started her on antibiotics a few days ago and shes clearing right up. She was snorting and get stuffy during bottle feeds, which was causing her to not eat well. Kittens will starve too death if eating is difficult for them, you dont want little ones to start losing weight. Theyll decline very quickly. One of her eyes started getting crusty, so I've been cleaning it and putting terramycin (eye ointment) on it.

But we are back on track and shes putting weight on ♡

Fuzzy Bean is starting to become a trouble maker. I caught him in the kitchen last night.... pissing down a vent. I thought he was sitting funny, picked him up and piss was shooting out.....good times.

Well, kitty has had a field day. First he caught and ate a grasshopper (minus the spikey rear legs) then he caught and slowly killed a field mouse. He took about an hour to slowly do that but after it stopped moving he lost interest in it and now it seems the swarming ants are enjoying its dead body.

At least he has lots of time to try to sit on my lap, purr, and meow like a good pet kitty should. He is certainly proud of himself.

This cat is the most spoiled beast of the face of the Earth. He likes his kitty food, which is 50% canned "gravy lovers" and 50% dried cat chow, but he is also extremely used to regular quantities of human food. He wants chopped pulled pork, bits of roast chicken, beef pot roast, and, of course, egg and cheese sandwiches. He especially likes those sandwiches if they have sliced ham.

Spoiled little beast, indeed.

So an update on Mr Fuzzy Bean. Sadly he started having seizures.

He was playing and suddenly just keeled over with a seizure. It was pretty awful to see and Squish was screaming thinking she somehow killed him and he was dying.

We took him to the vet last friday, he has epilepsy. For now we arent putting him on anything. The vet was optimistic and gave us some stuff to look for that tells us he might go into a seizure. And not to touch him at all if he starts seizing(unless he is in danger of falling off something).

So he isnt really "adoptable". So.....we are likely keeping him.

So.....he Mr Fuzzy Bean no more. He is now Bacchus.

Other than the seizures.... which is likely why he was abandoned by mom. ....he is doing really well ♡

I kinda expected there to be something with him. Now we know and we can help him more. The vet seems to think he has some Maine Coon in him... so he is gonna get very large. He does have a big noggin and some large paws for a kitten. We were kinda worried we grabbed some sort of wild animal lol.

He is sleeping now but last night was another bitey all nighty..... uhg lol.

I'm about to order a cat excercise wheel.

We didnt officially name the orange one because we are not keeping her lol. They are only taking one bottle a day now and they eat like pigs. They were up all night frolicking on me and now....they sleep. Little sweeties ♡

Yes I got the dried cat turd off Bacchus's foot lol. He is SO good using the litter box but he gets his own cat shit in his butt fur and on his feet. So he gets washed daily. It's because he has been hand reared by humans....no mamma cat to really teach him to groom properly.

We brush him a couple times a day with a toothbrush trying to mimic a mamma cat....he does groom himself, he just sucks at it. Prudey started PLEASE ASS BOX ME! him often so that should help.

Okay so it's been a hard week.

Bacchus is doing good. But....I met someone who really....really wanted a kitten and shes a vet tech and is totally fine with a cat who has seizures. Bacchus hasnt had any since I posted about it. But he definately will need ongoing vet care.

So I took a fee, and let him to go to a good and stable home where he can be the only cat.

I was so attached to him but I already have a lot of cats. I was prepared to keep him because of his seizures.....but I'm glad he found a home where he can be the only cat ♡

And I definately plan to keep tabs on him (shes like a friend of a friends cousin sort of thing). She was so excited to have him.

God damn it. We were out of canned "gravy lovers" cat food so I gave the cat dried cat food along with cheap canned tuna fish for his dinner. He ate it up so it seemed to be good then he barfed up a giant combo of hair ball, canned tuna, and moew mix right on the marble tile floor. Fucking cat.
