Yo, check this shit out Senile @Joe.

This is what

Cash on Hand

looks like when you live like TheProwler!!!!

2Uimwyn.jpeg
I had about that much cash last week before I purchased this with it @The Prowler:

xtNaKIjS_o.jpg

10 oz high grade silver

...but it doesn't make me a Superstar.

Whatever we buy, invest in be it gold, silver, stocks etc....its all a form of gambling @The Prowler

I'm not really much of a silver stacker.

I might reach 100 oz then stop.

Yes I did @The Prowler

But that's why I try to buy just a bit at a time.

I think they call that cost averaging.

A few years ago I paid $20 US an ounce for about 10 rounds. So maybe that'll make up for buying too high?

Person shouldn't buy too much at a time lest it drop in price like a rock. That's how people lose a lot of money.

Ie the US they sell these monster boxes with 500 or 1000 ounces.

That's way too much to buy all at once imho.

Silver is quite volatile even worse than gold. Gold can fall but silver can fall much harder and faster. I prefer gold actually

Anyway I don't really believe in $10,000 gold or $100 silver are coming soon. Those people are getting way ahead of them selves.

Seriously.

Couple of weeks before I bought $10,000 worth of precious metals @The Prowler

Here's one set I paid $4900 or around $3800 US for:

HJwwQbhi_o.jpg

1 oz silver 1 oz gold 1 oz platinum.

That was kinda stupid actually.

A true impulse buy.

I just wanted it for the sake of owning it.

But I might sell it back if gold goes up again.

I might buy foolish things but I always make sure I can sell them back if I no longer want them @The Prowler . Gold is one of those few items/commodities which can sell it for as much as you paid for them so at least the buyer doesn't lose money. If they do 10% at most? So that's the equivalent to a 'restocking fee'The

Senile @Joe, I asked why you lied.

Do you have an answer?

I posted a picture of about $3,000 and you said:

I had about that much cash last week before I purchased this with it @The Prowler:

And you showed a picture of about $400 worth of silver.

Why would you claim that you spent about $3,000 on about $400 worth of silver?

I am just curious about your thought process.

Why would you even make such a ridiculous claim?

It makes you look either

A) Incredibly stupid

or

B) Incredibly dishonest.

FYI, those two are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

Oh.

I thought that was about $400-500P @The Prowler

But hey no worries

I also paid $8,400 for 2 pure gold coin sets.

In which case that's $5,000 more than what you posted in your photo.

Again another foolish buy.

But I could sell those sets for $9,000 eking out a small profit Prowler.

Do you want me to post a photo of those sets Prowler?

Face it, Senile @Joe: You are a habitual liar and you cannot help yourself.
I have 2 of these sitting in my drawer at home @The Prowler.

s-l1200.jpg

I paid $8400 for them.

But they are worth $10,000 Prowler

That is $7,000 more than your cash pile.

I'll post a photo of the 2 sets if you want.

BTW, Money and material possessions are meaningless dumb Prowler. Don't take them too seriously eh. You can't take them with you. Especially your cash pile.

When you are dying this truth will finally become apparent dumb Prowler

You have to give them up when you die

That is just money that I have laying around, Senile @Joe. It is not money for investing.

I just think it is funny because you talk about investing and you are only working with amounts of money that I consider spending money. Amounts of money that I have laying around the house.

It is just weird that you go on and on talking about investments, Senile @Joe, and you are only investing quite small amounts for someone your age.

I just checked, Senile @Joe. I have over $51,000 that I need to decide where to invest right now. That is just from recent dividends.

That is the one thing about investing in high dividend stocks: I gotta keep figuring out where to invest the dividends.

No rest for the wicked.

I have at least $100,000 I could invest @The Prowler

But I'm waiting for a stock market correction possibly a crash after the us election

I'd rather not invest in the markets at the moment because there might be a recession and a stock market correction in 2025.

It would be foolish to throw money into the markets right now given the uncertainty right now.

It's like Krakatoa before it exploded eh?

Do you trade stocks? Just curious what you think of Starbucks? Just thought I'd ask. My kids drink so much of it I thought why not lol.

I'd wait to see if the association with Israel and subsequent boycott continues to be a drag on the company or sorts itself out.

In any event as long as the situation in Gaza continues and Starbucks fails to substantially distance itself from zionists there's a lot of potential growth being throttled and not inconceivably lost even in the long run.

On a personal note:
Starbucks, Amazon, WalMart, etc. are all evil local economy killing behemoths who enriched and continue to enrich themselves by exploiting workers (if a business' employees have to rely on things like food stamps or other government assistance that business is being subsidized by the federal treasury at the same time they're depressing wages in the broader market) and ought to be avoided just on general principle.

AI will only accelerate this trend & exponentially increase their Index of Evil @Garraty_47 .

I recently heard from 1 industry insider that besides profits a major objective of AI is to decrease manpower so there'll be fewer employees and jobs for them.

So there'll be even more homelessness than there is today.

Less manpower can mean the same number of employees with shorter work days.

Shorter work days is a good thing.

Technology should be embraced. Replacing employees doing unsatisfying jobs with automation is a good thing.

Increasing Entertainment, Hobbies, and other Life Enhancing activities should be embraced.

Just because you were a miserable unskilled worker your whole life does not mean others have to suffer the same fat, Senile @Joe.

This could be a Brave New World.

I wonder if the markets and your stock portfolio are gonna tank in 2025 @The Prowler .

If they do, are you prepared for this possibility?

Or will you panic like a frightened man in deep distress?!

I am well-prepared, Senile @Joe.

You are so clueless, it is pretty funny.

You make so many stupid assumptions.

Predatory capitalism (or as I like to call it- capitalism) has always been unsustainable and we're only now entering the final stages before it collapses utterly.

Technology has accelerated the collapse but it was always going to happen anyway. Tech isn't the proximate cause; it's only a part of the process that *looks* like a precipitating event due to proximity.

Correlation is not causation.

@Garraty_47 , do you actually know what Senile @Joe meant by "increase their Index of Evil"?

Or did you just chalk it up to Senile @Joe saying stupid shit with no real meaning once again, and you decided to roll with it?

I do find it funny that Senile @Joe is always so proud when he tells stories that start like "This one time, at Limo Camp, I drove a wealthy executive from...".

It is pathetic.

He agreed to be a Limo Driver, which is about on the same level as a Slave, for these people.

He listened intently to their boring fuckin' stories like a good little driver.

He worshiped these stooges so much that he actually remembered their boring fuckin' stories and even decided to repeat them here for all of us to read (and immediately forget.....because they are boring fuckin' stories!).

Just being able to be a fuckin' servant to these "wealthy executives" made him feel so special...

And then....because it aligns with something someone else has said....

He will call these same people "Evil".

Senile @Joe is a Walking Contradiction.

I read into it what I thought he was most likely to mean.
Or maybe it was just what I thought it should mean.
/shrug

It was kinda open to interpretation but I think I got the gist.

Right this is a short term thing. So here is the thing about Starbucks. We have 2 major hospitals here and they are in them. Why is that? I know it's not the "actual" Starbucks but still. WTF are they everywhere? Honestly, I'm just tired of seeing everyone get rich while I sit here working my ass off to barely making it. Just trying something new.

I love coffee. Starbucks is my least favorite but it's my only option at times. So made me think.

I personally hope it doesn't bounce back however given the average 'Murican's attention span (roughly equivalent to a concussed goldfish) this dip in Starbucks stock price could be a good time to buy in.

But then again if the Israeli genocide lasts more months or longer the boycott pressure could push the Starbucks stock price down even further which is the opposite of what you'd want especially in a short-term investment.

There's a local outfit called 'Java The Hut' that occasionally shows up in one of those kiosks but yeah, at Barnes&Noble's or other places that have a "coffee shop" inside it's usually Starbucks around here, too.

Then of course the profits are funneled up to management and stockholders, not recirculated in this area... that's what I meant about them being local economy wreckers. Because they're so big they get incentives/concessions from local governments to undercut local businesses and siphon money out of the local economy. They're rewarded for ruining shit for everybody and that's capitalism in a nutshell. LoL
