I have just had a feast of oysters, Balmain bug and brandy tart. I’m kicking back with a fine rum and counting my gold bars braah.

Nice..... oysters. I'd like 3 dozen of them right now.....and none of that Pacific crap.... Tassie all the way.

Pacific are bigger but I love the local Sydney oysters…they’re bloody magic! Naturally I buy them, but every now and again I’ll eat them from the rocks. Choice feed.

Not on the Spirit of Tassie.... big as a hand and so sweet tasting.... like mini oyster steaks.. plucked 5 off the ice in the buffet as they were being shucked and it was nearly a meal!

So good.... but in a pinch, any oyster matters....

Did you get the Tassie oysters fresh or cryovac?

Fresh.... the liquor was amazing. I was jizzing in my chair. Wife said "go get more" as the price per oyster was pretty exorbitant.... but I resent price gouging and refused.
