Not to mention, trying to explain what needs to be said to whom and why you're saying it. Plus, explaining that one is doing this on a forum full of grown "adults" because they're not bat-shit crazy or anything like that. I mean how does a person explain this logically to someone who's never experienced the forums in this way? You can't. Any rational person would say, "Fuck no!" At least I hope they would.

That's spot on.
My husband knows I traverse the forums, but I'll never let him hear me record my voice with some of the things I'd say. Then he'd really think I've lost it. Yeah, he thinks the whole forum thing is crazy and a waste of time, I mean he's right.
P.S.-My biggest fear are my children catching me in the act as I record my voice on Vocaroo. That would be as bad as when one of them walked in on me smoking a bowl. The worst part would be explaining why mommy was cursing into her phone.

Though I haven't said anything off color in any vocaroo as of yet...I would also hesitate to record anything like that in front of anyone.

I've had those thoughts plenty of times regarding the Vocaroo's. I'm just very lucky or unlucky I'm almost never alone in the house to partake more in Vocaroo trolling. I think too much Vocaroo defeats the purpose of the forums, that is unless you can't type or cannot get your point across with words.
With technology the way it is, I see a massive shift happening with the forums where textual based communications will be obsolete and the time of live video chat will be the standard. Then it'll be a whole new ball game.

No. I'm playing Starfield and so far it's everything it promised to be. I just got through the prologue and have 4 hours of playing time and haven't even started on the main quest missions yet, because I'm having too much fun exploring the endless planets and the NPC's.
Starfield is worth playing, and worth the $70 price tag. Though, you have to own an Xbox X or an Xbox S to play it, though. The older Xbox One consoles aren't compatible.
