Years later I found out it was because they supposedly were a choking hazard due to small parts and were subsequently taken off the market.

The Blank goes for hundreds of $$$$ on Ebay if it's on card.

Yeah I remember Star Wars figures being popular and worth a lot to collectors nowadays but I never had any because I wasn't really into the movies.
