There are very few moments of the day that I'm not doing *something*.
I'm certainly not going to gab while I'm driving or doing dishes or some other household chore so every minute spent on the phone is that many fewer minutes I could be at my desk coding/recording/etc. and I'm trying to get *out* of the habit of staying up all night catching up on that stuff.
Besides I'm telling you: I absolutely suck at idle mundane chit-chat.

Probably earlier because I remember being on f4$ & bh around 1998 onward.
As far as post walls, the dude who played guitar, had a backpack on his avatar wearing a gas mask and was an admin at bh, what was his name? Ant lion or something with an A. I think he posted some 3,000 word text wall and sometime later, foxmulder did some very long winded scrolly shit as well. I'm guessing the point was to be pointless in a neverending novella fashion.

I was on F4$ in early 2001 or 2002 and it hadn't been in existence for very long before that. 2002 was when a number of us migrated to BH at the invitation of EB, I believe...
I've never heard before that F4$ was operating in 98... doesn't fit what I know about the guy doing work for R1's site from here in Oz.

Brawl Hall was a subforum off of Torture.net if I remember correctly and I'm pretty sure it was there in 1998 when we still had dial up internet. BH was a revolt from TDT. Doomsday and Danger created BH and pinched some TDT members...
