So that's awful - This was a publicly funded pre-school and the school board had okay'd this book as an educational tool for 4 year olds? Someone needs to answer for this. You didn't miss it.

It appears to be privately funded via a trust, with a board of trustees. So that's awful - This was a publicly funded pre-school and the school board had okay'd this book as an educational tool for 4 year olds? Someone needs to answer for this.
They say: “As Trustees, we agree that the images in the book Grandpa’s Pride are not age appropriate. This book has been removed from Genesis and a comprehensive audit of all other books has taken place to ensure all books, whilst celebrating culture and diversity, are age appropriate. We also intend to raise this with Hull Early Years and seek their advice on the illustrations within this book, when the new school year commences in September.
Down with privately funded pre-schools !It appears to be privately funded
Holy Crap ! - what if they put grains and shit like Hops and stuff in there?
Biden ruins everything!
That "book" that was posted by Madam Shitler was not overtly sexual whatsoever. The books that are available for minors over the age of 12 are age appropriate. They have to be checked out of libraries. They are not part of curriculum that anyone has been able to demonstrate to the readers here. They aren't in any way, shape, or form, mandatory.
If it were mandatory, we would be having a different discussion.
What other people allow their minor children to read is not your call. Do you understand that?
No, but I prioritize what I think is important. That's how real problems should be addressed. No one person, nor one organization can "do it all". So, to prevent the most egregious of outcomes, we should address those in order of priority, imo.
Yeah, because unfair competition in athletics is so much more important than the destruction of childhood innocence and trauma.
So you do understand that the topic of threads can evolve and change, and that it is not necessary to always only address just the one topic of highest priority as you said here:
And since you now have shown that you understand more than one topic can be discussed and it is okay to discuss something that is not of the highest priority, then this post that you made...
Was not a good point.

And they have taken remedial action.
But it remains an issue of concern that somebody approved that book for that environment in the first place. I mean, it's not as if books just fuckin' migrate from distributors to schools, now, is it. At best, it shows a lack of care and attention on the part of whomever procured it.
I think the question we really need to be asking isThese kooks want to con kids into going down a road that leads to irreversible and life-changing chemical and/or
SPLC is a garbage propaganda outlet this why they regularly get sued and lose for lying about people. Also, no, that is not the source, they are just reporting on the research. The Family Research Council? Really? That's your objective source? An ultra-conservative Christian lobbying entity deemed a hate group by The Southern Poverty Law Center?
I think the question we don't need to ask -- because the answer is self-evident -- is why you're defending a movement that's out to fuck up as many people as possible while they're too young to have developed the cognitive tools to resist.I think the question we really need to be asking is
.. Why are the Aliens letting this go on, and what is the roll of the Deep State in all of this?
Are they splicing trans-kid DNA with Bigfoot thereby creating a hybrid race of hermaphrodite apemen?
I'll do the deciding of what questions we need to ask, palzie.I think the question we don't need to ask
Nah, you're remedial yet. You ain't ready for amateur hour, let alone prime-time. Go to the back of the bus; on your bus, it ain't a long walk.I'll do the deciding of what questions we need to ask, palzie.
Not for Commies. What you want for the rest of us, you get first.Because it’s a free country?
I’m quite sure you thought that made sense. You participated! Not for Commies. What you want for the rest of us, you get first.
Oi !! DUUUUUuuUVVy ... wash yer hair an quit pretending to be another fucking yapping idiot LMFAOI think the question we don't need to ask -- because the answer is self-evident -- is why you're defending a movement that's out to fuck up as many people as possible while they're too young to have developed the cognitive tools to resist.

Because it’s a free country? Sorry that’s how it works. What else ya got?
Some people feel a moral obligation to defend those who cannot defend themselves, and some people are, like, "Meh, whatever, not my problem."
The odd thing is that these "Meh, whatever, not my problem." people get so cranky and energetic when the people with morals take action. It is almost like they are sadistic fuckers who want to sit back and watch the harm done to the defenseless people such as children and the mentally ill.
Your learning disability amuses me. Carry on amusing me.I’m quite sure you thought that made sense.
I think it's only fair to 'do unto them'. Get Christianity into the schools and have teachers preach the retarded-ass gospel to the commies' kids, turn them into a generation of empty-headed little sweater-vest-wearing Ned Flanders clones. See how the crayola-head crackpots like having that shit inflicted on "their" kids. Some people feel a moral obligation to defend those who cannot defend themselves, and some people are, like, "Meh, whatever, not my problem."
Yeah. Morals. And, no, morals do not come from religion -- the actions of the majority of religionists stand as neon-lit proof of that.Morals...
