Yet another example of stupid things Democrats pretend are great ideas but which change absolutely nothing. If they actually made them take gifted classes 90% would fail because... They aren't gifted.

This is a beautiful example of cons looking at sound bites, getting hysterical over them, and running around screeching about the sound bites, thus spreading the hysteria, even though they have zero understanding of the totality of the reality.

This is a program in which that particular school district is labeling students "gifted" in order to make gifted student resources -- including curriculum and teachers -- available to all of those other students as well, to see if the resources kept aside for actual gifted students can help other students. In other words, why withhold resources that can help all students? Seriously? Can you answer that question? This is a multi-year project in which they are keeping close records and aiming to quantify any educational gains that result from the program. It has fuck all to do with simply telling students they are gifted in order to make them feel better, which is what con hysterics are trying to sell.

See, the problem is, this sort of thing takes a few minutes of research and reading to fully understand (Much like CRT). It's always a good idea to do some research before defaulting to hysteria.
