I've tried 1st person shooters and I sucked at every one. lol
Spoiler alert. It only worsens with age. Best to play fps single story mode. Mutiplayer is full of aimbot wallhack glitchy 180 degree turning snap on twitch freaks with eyesights better than us & $500 gaming headphones to isolate outside noises via canceling.

We played games for fun while working our asses off to afford to live which gave our youth the gaming advantage of gaming their asses off to not afford to leave our basements.

What a world.

What a wolrd.

Only FPS I really got into was Valorant. They have such an intrusive anticheat software (Vanguard) that you don't see cheaters in 50% of matches like other games

But still, playing with these kids that grew up playing that shit all the time is impossible

Sometimes you see some fucker doing things that seem 100% cheat, but it's just them "being fucking good"

Dude me and my bro in law both together got trashed by my 11 year old son in a closed off Halo mutiplayer match 2 vs 1 back in the day.

The best way to get good at anything is to do it so much that you have no life other than doing it. So you sacrifice life because you cost life points doing it ad nauseum and now are robotic as it's second nature to you.

Easiest way to have no life is to be a gaming kid with no bills to pay.

But we were kids gaming back when gaming kids didn't livestream for money.

Back when gaming was for fun. When it became online it became toxic to the human psyche.

A state of confusion...
Playing Ghost of Yotei, released today I loved the 1st game Ghost of Tsushima and so far this one is shaping up nicely to achieve the high standard set by its predecessor.

I just finished the Doom campaign....it was good....and I see Doom Eternal is on for 90% off...$5.34 plus tax.

I am going to ask my wife if it is okay to buy it.

My brother and I are waiting for the Battlefield 6 BR to release in a couple days
I see people complaining about bf 6 maps. But I'm sure bigger better ones will come. Can't expect carbon copies forever. Sheesh.

Bf 6 has a limited map editor which I didn't try but is a cool concept. I remember one of the Halo games having a map builder and the original Half Life on PC in 1998 had a map maker. Very cool way to keep driving interest in a game.

Minecraft knows.

Playing through Elden Ring again only played the DLC one time so started a fresh character and heading for the DLC to give it another whirl just one more boss before I can enter the DLC.

Such a stunning looking game.

Nothing wrong with that they are extortionate these days upon release, but I did buy that one on pre order as its a set of games i started playing in 2009 on the PS3 with Demon's Souls.

If you ever do get your hands on it and want someone to help or just run some co op with shoot me a PM id be down.

I was talking about playing Elden Ring Co-op, but Demon's Souls Is Elden Rings Great great great grandfather, if you own/play on PS5 as well Demon's Souls got a very good very faithful PS5 Remake in 2022, where inch for inch its basically identical to the original but with modernised controls/graphics and built in a far more modern engine by

who have done a great job of re-making bunch of classic Playstation titles for modern audiences. but if you are to try the Demons Souls Remake which I would advise over the OG, because just a better experience all round and it will be cheaper than the OG PS3 version you will need a PS5 as it is a PS5 exclusive.
