What is your TFSA at, Senile @Joe?
I haven't checked. Im afraid to . lol

Likely down quite a bit cuz i was too heavily invested in gold and mining stocks.

However I did notice that the staple/ utility stocks i bought have managed to hold their own. They are some of the bright spots on my porfoilio. Those kind of companies will never go bankrupt or out of business eh. if anything they actually go up while everything else is falling

So ill probably be buying more of them & money market funds this year.

Be a big brave boy and check.

You gimp.
Just goes ta show a person shouldn't lean to heavily on their investments to fund their lifestyles Lex @The Prowler

Just like a pension, they certainly help but they are not the end all be all.

Case in point, the gold I bought 2 years ago has done well but it's also struggled of late. May even go down further. Seems when war breaks out governments need to sell off the gold to pay their debts or emergencies.

Hahaha!!!

What are you talking about, you idiot?

What do you think retired people like me rely on? I withdraw from my investments...that is my income.

Hahaha!!! Do you think everyone is on a disability pension like you, Senile @Joe?

Well Lex @The Prowler

I plan ta keep on working.

Just keep on adding to the TFSA make it grow s'more.

I admit, Im not magnificently rich. My net worth is only about the Canadian Average.

But Im also debt free, in perfect health, have a credit score close to 850. I think 900 is the maximum in Canada. 850 in the States eh.

I'd like to start a new business to earn some side hustle income this year. Do it as what they refer to as 'a hobby business'.

Ive actually done those type of businesses before. Anybody can do them actually. Low risk, don't break the bank, work when ya want. There's no pressure in those kinda ventures cuz they're jus done fer fun eh.

Yeah, you have said that about 6,328 times now.

It is a sad situation, given your advanced age.

What is it worth right now?

I admit, Im not magnificently rich.

Hahaha!!! Who the fuck would ever think that you are rich, you dumb fuck?!!?

My net worth is only about the Canadian Average.

How much is that?

But Im also debt free

The Net Worth calculation includes debt, Senile @Joe.

in perfect health

Bull shit.

Why do you even know your credit score?

That is not normal for someone who is debt free.

You have nothing of value to offer, Senile @Joe.

I thought that overpriced Corvette you squandered your wife's money on was poorly spent and a bad buy Lex @The Prowler .

I spent less than you did on precious metals & collectibles & now their resale value is 2x twice what you paid for your car Lex because the price of Gold went up so much while your car depreciated by at least 25% Lex.

Why within 10 years your overpriced Arctic White Corvette will find a home at Shekky's Used Car lot in Brampton Ontario, Lex. By then I will be able to buy it for a pittance. Likely 1 ounce Gold or even Silver will do. By then you will realize the folly of your lack of judgment Lex.

Senile @Joe, I am in the Top 1% of Canadians with respect to my Net Worth. Well within the Top 1%. The chart in that article you posted needs more categories at the top so I could be more precise.

I am very frugal which is why I only bought a Corvette. I could comfortably spend a million dollars on a car and not have it affect anything but the amount of my estate. But my C8 Corvette provides what I consider an excellent balance of comfort and performance. All while supporting the North American economy.

You are clueless, Senile @Joe.
