I am not sure if everyone is aware, but I own a 2023 Arctic White C8 Corvette with the Z51 Performance Package.

The engine is in the back....it is called a "mid-engine car" because the engine is in front of the rear wheels.

The reason they put the engine there is for performance.

See those big scoops on the side of the car?

You can see them better in this picture:

Those scoops are functional. They bring air into the engine. More air in the engine means it can burn gas faster. This increase more power. This means this car will go very fast, and get to a fast speed very quickly.

Click on the picture. You will notice the shape of the car better. The lines on the hood of the car. How the headlights flow into the fender that rises up over the massive 19" front wheels with 245mm wide high performance tires. The Stingray curve over the 20" rear wheels with massive 305mm wide high performance tires.

This car is where art meets performance.

Do not be embarrassed if you are drooling. It is a common reaction.

. As a kid I had a scrap book of all the cars I liked, from ads in various mags.
I wish I had that today. Loved all of those designs. So much more creative than the crap that started in the 70s/80s then only got worse.
