Just say no to homos, Larry.Oh, them. Well, to be honest, it is a little boring over there. Only 6-7 posters showing up daily and adding the usual stuff.
. That's my advice. I will say no more.

They don't need to win the Big 22 (or whatev). They will get a decent seeding in the tourney.Michigan, Michigan State, and Nebraska are ahead of them in the poll and they need to run the table in their remaining schedule.
We'll see. That's why the games are played. They don't need to win the Big 22 (or whatev). They will get a decent seeding in the tourney.
. Reggie will be hooked in for a game or two.
I'm telling you to BOOK IT, lad. We'll see. That's why the games are played.
I'll book it when I feel like it.I'm telling you to BOOK IT, lad.

Yeah, I've heard rumbling that Illini Basketball has been pretty good lately, but you gotta understand, after the 1990s Basketball at any level just isn't a thing. Do you realize that Chicago would have had 8 NBA Championships in a row if Michael Jordan hadn't taken two years off to try baseball?@Reggie_Essent Your team is ranked #11 at present.
. Looks like maybe a 3 or 4 seed if they hang in tough.
You will be glued to your recliner come the 17th.
Not that you wouldn't be anyway.
...but at least you'll have something to watch on the tv and to live for.
Mama told me never look into the eyes of the sun.Yeah, I've heard rumbling that Illini Basketball has been pretty good lately, but you gotta understand, after the 1990s Basketball at any level just isn't a thing. There's no coming back after that kind of excitement.
You're a Yankee fan! Good fucking Lord! That's worse than being a Detroit Tigers fan. What the hell is wrong with you!Mama told me never look into the eyes of the sun.
Yeah @Reggie_Essent I don't watch baseball anymore because the Yankees don't win every year.
. I feel your ennui, man.
No worries, it will all be over soon enough.
Shut up, asshole! Stop rubbing it in! As a lifelong WHITE SOX fan (Cubs fans are all homosexuals) I've only ever been able to enjoy one perfect year in 2005.. I grew up in the NYC metro area and first became a fan and player of the game after the Giants and Dodgers had left for the west coast and before the Mets had come to be. They were and are, of course, the greatest franchise in the history of sports, and those early years of my fandom were among their greatest.
I am saddened by your pain, sir.Shut up, asshole! Stop rubbing it in! As a lifelong WHITE SOX fan (Cubs fans are all homosexuals) I've only ever been able to enjoy one perfect year in 2005.
Jagoff Yankees!
Yes, but at least the Giants won four Superbowls since the Bears won their lone Superbowl.I am saddened by your pain, sir.
Just think of us poor Football Giantards fans over the past decade and know that we too know disappointment and resignation to defeat.

. You know I had just been considering this. Yes there is that moment of euphoria when your team wins it all, but then is it all the worse to watch them go straight to the bottom and languish there? Is it perhaps better to accustom onesself to disappointment than to be teased and tormented by the memory of past success. See what I'm saying there, Larry?Yes, but at least the Giants won four Superbowls since the Bears won their lone Superbowl.![]()
You have a point.. You know I had just been considering this. Is it perhaps better to accustom onesself to disappointment than to be teased and tormented by the memory of past success. See what I'm saying there, Larry?
. Good win but they should have buried these guys especially with them playing w/o their stud, Trae Carroll, who is very good player.I'm calling Nova to win. Book it.
If they get to the tournament semifinals, then I can see them getting a 11-12 seed.. Good win but they should have buried these guys especially with them playing w/o their stud, Trae Carroll, who is very good player.
. The good thing about Cats is they play to their potential quite often. The problem, Their ceiling is not that high really. They are good at beating the teams they should beat, but suck when playing the better teams.
I'm still at this moment seeing them as an 8 or 9 seed though RPI has them at #24. I think that's high, while NET and KenPom have them in the low or mid 30s which is more like it.
Their first BE Tourney game next Thursday.
If they win the 1st tourney game they will be no worse than 25-8. Probably an 8 seed - if they lose then 9 or 10 at worst.Ok, fine. 10 seed it is. Yeesh.
5 of their 7 losses came against top 25 teams. The selection committee does factor that in seeding arrangement. If they win the 1st tourney game they will be no worse than 25-8. Probably an 8 seed - if they lose then 9 or 10 at worst.
. Too bad they lost Hodge. That was one thing they had going for them this year. Pretty much injury free till then.
Indeed. That is why they can not do better than an 8 in my view w/o winning against either ST John's or UConn in the BE tournament. I do not see that happening.5 of their 7 losses came against top 25 teams. The selection committee does factor that in seeding arrangement.
They are being a bit generous with that 6 seed prediction. Depending on how they do in the tourney, the best I'm giving them is 8-9 or worst case 12-13.So let's take a look at things as they presently appear.
(remembering that it is 70 degrees and sunny today, but forecast to be 42 and raining in a few days hence)
Things may change but here we are.
Now you will see there that Cats are at 24 in the RPI and a projected 6 seed.
I'm sorry, That is nonsense - I still see them at an 8 or 9 assuming they do not screw up their 1st BE tourney game. Then I call them a 10.
All the better though if they go as say a 7 and get a nice soft opponent in the NCAA first round before bowing out.
For @Reggie_Essent
Your Fighting Illini are at 16 and that would get them a 4 seed.
You might be looking Sweet 16 if you believe, Reclinerman.
I'll get the first few games in with you, lad. They are being a bit generous
You're right. The few Pakis I've met referred to themselves as Pashtun or Punjabi. There's no such thing as an ethnic Paki. Its all a delusion.I'll get the first few games in with you, lad.
. Spring comes, I'm off.
PS: What kind of Paki refers to themselves as a Paki?
Did you make note of that?
Yeah, the Hoyas suck this year so Nova has a cakewalk tonight.Cats/Hoyas 9:30 PM (FS1). Cats 7.5 pt favs. Be there or be square.
