My tuxies were having a sort of riot in the laundry room.

10 minutes later my beautiful Prudence strutted up to me and dropped this right at my feet lmao.

Poor little fucker never stood a chance in this house.

Mabel has the spot, Prudey is next to her.

My ass will pack up my shit and go to a hotel if I see a dropping.

I'm surprised it's the first one I've seen out here. Made it through spring and most of the summer.....no mice.

I figured they smelled my cats and stayed away. This one might have had a death wish.

I saw that mouse plague......holy shit.

That was really bad. Is that a regular occurrence? Because that would be hell on farmers

You might not cope in Australia... just saying..

oh I read about that. The mice invasion. I would have needed to be institutionalized.

Only happens inland though... places like my inlaw's farm... they've had multiple times where they had to rip the carpets out, throw away bedding and clothing, and bleach the house down to the concrete block....

Yeah, the prospect of a spider or some other critter crawling up the bog and biting your ass while taking your morning shit is enough to put me off 'Stralia too.

Australians are fearful of bears, cougars, wolves, coyotes, and the like when they travel elsewhere...

It's all about your exposure and where you were raised.

No joke I have an actual paranoia....more so since I moved out here....that something is going to climb up the toilet and attack my vagina while I'm doing my business.

Sometimes I hover over the toilet I'm so worried about it.

When I'm redoing the bathroom im getting I'm putting in some kind of toilet that lowers those odds. Lol.

why does it happen?

Introduced species.... no natural predators besides the snakes.... same thing with bunny rabbits here....

Anything which breeds fast and can take advantage of high rain/green growth, will explode...

Rats freak me out much more than mice. Feild mice are gross but kinda cute.

Rats will bite people up while they sleep and they carry all kinds of disease like the actual black plague.

I'd lose my shit and rush them to the emergency vet if a rat got in here and they killed it.

Oh man, it's times like this which actually make me grateful for living in the UK, at least we can use the bathroom without fear of being joined in there by uninvited insects and other forms of wildlife Lol.

I wanted out of the metro area so badly. It's so worth it for me.

I mean yeah there are more nasty critters.....but less people lol. No demoleftards. It's beautiful, cleaner, more peaceful and I do love nature. At night you can see way more of the stars.

Lots of farms so there are several farmers markets.

Like this one not far from me

There is a decent sized fishing pond out back with a gang of.....surprisingly territorial...geese

My daughter went back there early to go fish for a while and they actually chased her off lol

I tried to take my son camping as much as possible when he was kindergarten age...

But he was scared.... even if the campsite had a drop toilet (barrel set in concrete with a toilet seat under a steel roof)...

He was paranoid... about spiders... I would bring a flashlight in beforehand, show him that there were no spiders, clean the seat as best as possible, and he'd still refuse to take a dump.

So I gave him a small shovel, roll of toilet paper, and told him to go away and do his business elsewhere...

Then I heard screaming. I ran towards the noise thinking he'd gotten bitten by a brown, black, or tiger snake....

None of that... he was squatting and fell backwards... he had his shit all over hands and arms... he looked like that iconic picture from Vietnam with a naked kid running...

Australia is pretty safe...

... I've lived in both hemispheres and it's all good.

I don't live in the countryside, but I don't live in the Cosmopolitan, woke, ridiculously expensive and extortionate confines of a modern day innercity either.

Thankfully lots of towns still exist here which haven't been wrecked by the Globohomo agenda and still espouse traditonal values and most importantly of all, are still overwhelmingly White.

Not a lot of feral cat colonies out there?

There are, but how can they eat a plague?

My wife just left for work 15 minutes ago then called me because she saw a 3.5 foot tall kitty/panther/lion looking thing walking across the road in the dark and she asked herself "wtf"?

We don't have such animals here so I asked her if it was a really big tom cat... she said no.... it was massive.

I asked her about the colourings.... if there was stripes like the now extinct Tasmanian Tiger... she said definitely not...

It looked like a cat and she had to ring someone at 5 in the morning to get it on record....

I believe her. My wife never lies about shit... she's my pillar of honest truth.

I was outside when she called... I immediately went inside and got a knife on my belt...

You never know what is out there lurking undetected really lol.

When I was kid, there was a panther loose and it found it's way to my aunts farm. They never caught it.
