Scientists have found a layer of liquefied molten rock in Earth's mantle that may be acting as a lubricant for the sliding motions of the planet's massive tectonic plates.......the temperatures at the lithosphere (the earths crust & upper mantle) is found at a depth where the temperatures are far too extreme for oil to exsist......magma, however, is acting as a lubricant so there’s no need to worry :ThumbsUp4:
