I've read a few articles saying you can get pretty good results using a flatiron and parchment paper. I never personally tried it so I don't know.

I went up to the mountains lately. I love exploring various stops on the road, never know what you'll find. In addition to amazing nature, rivers, lakes and animals the shops and dive bars are great. Got an antique toy gun from the 50's, holds one single tab of paper with the gun powder in it, to make the bang! Got some smallantkers I'll be making a headdress out of. Got a cool little antler whistle that also works perfectly to hold my hair up and can be used as a fast weapon, fun. And got some sentimental stuff from my childhood at a fun antique store.

Those sound like some sweet finds. I figure while I am out here I should make the best of it. I also needed to replace some gear so I had a friend who works for an outdoor company use his discount to replace a bunch of shit. The last time I took a big fall I had a carabiner break. It sucked.
