I'm not a bird watcher in the classsic definition, but I do enjoy the birds who visit my garden. Like Barney and Betty, the cardinals who take turns noshing the breakfast bread and grains while the other does look out. And Fred and Wilma, the robins. They prefer worms and snails. Wilma is a tough, evil bitch who fights the blackbirds for turf.

I like them enough to buy 3# of proper seed to keep them satisfied and coming back.
