A couple years ago from a sort of mini reunion in Vegas

There may have been one of those matches where adult men or women try to incapacitate each other.

Let me guess.

You ordered the Fruit Platter.

So changing hair color has nothing to do with hair color. You heard it here first, folks.

When referring to your disappointment with the colour of your hair as indicated by your need to change the colour of your hair, the colour of your hair is irrelevant.

How badly does that make you feel?

Hahahahaha!!!!!

I been buyin' too much lately.
Got carried away buying too much stuff.
I think it's time to slow down & stop buying too much.

Oh well. At least I think I could re-sell most of it if Had to.

Some of it might actually end up appreciating quite a bit in the next 5-10 years.

I could probably sell much of it tomorrow on eBay and break even.

My philosophy is if a person gits tired of their stuff, they should be able to unload it if they don't want it anymore.

The trick is to always have a buyer and that yer stuff is in demand in order to facilitate a potential sale.

My philosophy is to buy stuff you want and use it how you want and do not worry about selling it*.

People should have income from their job until retirement, and then from investments after retirement, so they can buy and enjoy stuff they want without worrying about saying "Bye bye" to the money.

* Except for dishwashers.

My GIC's have performed well lately, @The Prowler

If a person gets about as much lately from a GIC vs the stock market or crypto, why bother with higher risk investments that don't do any better ? or possibly much worse?

Goes to show you whatta scam or ponzi scheme the stock market is.

And the crooks who run it.

It's all manipulated anyways.

No free market present there, thats fer sure

Bun Thit Nuong (Vermecelli rice noodle with grilled pork and shrimp & veggies w/fish sauce)

delicious
I love that stuff. I've never seen Vietnamese food here or in Spain. I used to have it for lunch almost every day when I was teaching.

The TSX Composite is up 5.65% over the last year.

So how is it, @Joe, that I am up over 11% from a year ago, @Joe?

Yup. A very rigged game.

It might seem that way to those who do not understand it.

That's another matter entirely. The only reason your community has a dearth of delicious cuisines is because of immigrants. Full stop.

Okay...and I would like to add....

For many cultures we should only have let in a couple of chefs and then stopped it.

Shit @Lily, what do you want? A ribbon? A medal? A Belt?

You said something that is obvious. I mean, "Good job for being right every once in a while."

I want nothing more than what I got. An acknowledgement from right wing assholes that immigrants do bring something to the table, in this context, literally something to the table.

I have to say, I would miss having foods from all over the world if I lived elsewhere, even within the US.
That's one of the few things I really miss. LA had every kind of food on the planet, I believe. Hollywood even has a section where there are restaurants from different African countries.

I think I've had the cuisines from most countries in East and Southeast Asia. I know I've had food from China, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Korean, Japan, Myanmar (Burma), the Philippines...I haven't had food from Bhutan, Malaysia or Indonesia.
