The tree (many branches in the material world) to the less numbered (but not lesser) branches of the spiritual realm, and the shaman (the Santa) ascends to the spiritual realm by use of the red and white mushroom (Siberian Amanita Muscaria) bringing back the gifts of that ascended world.
