To be honest, the last game that visually dazzled me was The Witcher 3
I played it in the best graphics, no Ray Trace, in my GTX 1070 and was amazed at how great it looked
That kinda felt like the apex
Ray and path tracing are nice, but they don't made the whole thing look so much better when compared to the cards before the RT becoming a thing
Games like Assassins Creed, Far Cry, Crysis and others from 2007-2010
Those were the days things looked fresh and new

I played The Witcher 3. It's a LONG one. lol I also recently completed AC Valhalla with all of the DLC. I racked up like 300+ hours on that.

Yeah i have binged modern era and am enjoying a touch of regression. I picked up a PS3 and like 25games so ive been having a blast.
