The irony here, as I have tried to point out, is that the idea that perpetual economic growth spurred by population increase (the ever present need for cheap labor) is a deep right wing (conservative) concept. It is unsustainable. Do we know any medical condition characterized by uncontrolled growth of cells? That is a microcosm of uncontrolled human population growth.
Further - we are not living in a world of 10 million people where migrating would bring one to a place where no one was previously settled. In the more recent times migration=conquest. Generally a superior (technologically) society/culture overwhelms a less advanced one. Here, however, we have inferior cultures (individuals) escaping, but bringing that shit culture they are escaping with them. This is what is happening in this age. Historically it is rare for an inferior culture to supplant a more advanced one, however there is an example you all know of, and it resulted in what is know as the Dark Age of Europe, which lasted about 1000 years. That is where we are headed, though unnecessarily.
