Even these $100,000+ state of the art hybrids or electrics may one day end up in the dumpster, worthless because the technology is changing so fast.

The fuel cells they're making today, may not be in production in 5 years.

Heck they might all by using Hydrogen cells or nuclear fusion one day

Swimming is how you get from one place to another.
A held lungful of air should keep you afloat if you can relax.

Nah. I take a big breath and I relax and I sink to the bottom of the pool.

Two of my sisters were lifeguards and swimming instructors. One of them got every certification/qualification as a lifeguard and as an instructor to lifeguards. They say a small percentage of people will actually sink.

The proof is kinda....at the bottom of the pool.

I suspect you're afraid of drowning so you breathe rapidly; that cuts way down on your buoyancy which makes you even more afraid of drowning and on and on.

Just relax; breathe slowly and hold it in for a few seconds.
Then you should easily be able to keep your head above water just by moving your arms back and forth.

Don't fight the water... it'll fight back and you'll lose.

Surrender to it. Make it your friend.

Or just get a lifejacket and wear it at all times when you're near water.

I do always wear a life jacket when I am in a boat. When I kayak or canoe in deep water, I wear a life jacket.

If I want to go swimming in deeper water for a while, I have the option of wearing a water skiing belt. They work well for me.

I like cliff jumping when it is just a jump...not where you gotta take a running jump to clear the cliff and/or rocks.

Just a little jump off the ledge and I am good. I also just go feet first....I have never tried to dive off anything higher than a low diving board.
