No haha I was charged and stupidly pled guilty to domestic abuse, I told this story a few times now but long short I was pissed drunk, got into an argument with the girl I had courted since school and threatened her dad, showed up at their house with an axe of all things... Made a scene as you can imagine, that was it... Arrested, remanded and three mnths later I pled guilty hoping I could save my relationship amongst other things... I had to hold in my laugh when they talked about my Hitler love, posting super imposed pictures with me and Hitler, I was like "Is This really happening?" in court so I knew it was happening but the context was ridic...
After three months I got out and told to do 140hours unpaid work by the Judge...
I messaged her via skype asking to see my dogs and she snitched big time, it was as innocent as that...
I got arrested and jailed for innocent skype messages affter that... I cut the end off because I've typed far too much...

Walking away or putting distance between your pups and yourself is sometimes the only way to preserve inner and outer peace...for all parties involved.

My pup is still in a hospital bed with major brain damage and half his body paralysed after nearly a year. I don't visit him every weekend now because he's lost the concept of time. I was doing it because I thought that was what a good parent did, no matter how agitated and distressed it made him get....

I've seen the same thing with my 90+ year old grandmother over the last 10 years....she suffers severe dementia and my phone calls make her condition worse for her doctor hubby.

Sometimes you have to walk away for others...
