So I have always been PC, but I just bought a used Macbook Pro, any Mac people that have recently switched here?

I gotta Mac, but also have Windows loaded on it.

Macs make good windows machines actually.
Windows never crashes on my Mac and it's an old computer.

I can switch from Mac to Windows or back with a program like Parallels.

I'm kinda starting to like Windows cuz at least they show some consistency.

When they say they'll stick with windows 10 for 8 years, they do it.

Or they'll be switching to windows 11 in 4 years, they'll do it.
They don't play games with their user base nearly as much.
Unlike the people at Apple who are creating a new OS every month

A year ago, they were on OS X10.15.
6 months later they were on OS 11.
Now they're on OS 12.
They have no proper road map.
Apple is burning their users out by demanding they endlessly upgrade.

Plus their new Apple silicon computers had all these problems with memory leaks.
Apple just wants their users to buy a new computer every year.
But a windows user can actually keep their old rig going for at least 5.

so at least if my old mac goes 'obsolete', I can still use Windows on it for many years to come. maybe another 10.

Windows is almost as good as OS X.

May as well switch to Windows at some point.

Thanks Joe that's interesting info, maybe that's what I should do, set it up so I can have whatever OS the 2015 macbook I just received but can still return if'n I choose to, and has and at least win10, since I am so used to the windows world, I'm mostly a casual user, I've heard macs were good for editing music and video.
