When my friends were all going to the 8th grade dance I was in the psych hospital on 7 different psych meds.

I have attempted suicide twice. My first time having consensual sex I was terrified it would be painful because of injuries. I have a series of failed relationships. I have struggled with substance abuse to the point I needed rehab.

Do I drink on occasion? Yep. I like to enjoy a few drinks once or twice a month. As a 44 year old adult woman, I'm allowed.
