He was easily able to make a selfless decision to take care of his sons and leave them a home in an upscale community under their mother's care. She, let's call her Janie, is a very respectable woman. She got her PhD in biology and has worked in food industry for 500 fortune companies before moving to the biotechnology industry in Silicon Valley. She is a great mother and a good steward of their inheritance. She remarried and lives in her husband's home. Their home is rented out and will be left to the boys that are grown now. The boys are wonderful young men, very intelligent, hard working, independent and educated, and they are gentlemen. Educated, centered and stable people can make good decisions that unstable, broken and damaged people cannot begin to fathom.

It's quite revealing to see a man of good character attacked for no reason.

I had a 3500 sq foot house with a 3 car garage while I was married and my children were still living at home. Personally, I’m happy to not have the upkeep and expense of ALL that.

I had an epiphany the morning after we spent our first night together that this is why it never worked out with anyone else…. and we both agree that we had to go through everything we went through to have this deep connection that we both appreciate now. I’m grateful I will have a husband to protect me from shit like that.
