Trump has created this whole mess.
And it wasn't about deportations either.
Obama actually deported thousands of illegal migrants too, but using due process & following the laws/regulations.
But Trump breaks the laws & as Newsom indicated creating unecessary tensions & lawlessness which he has to address as governor.
So Trump essentially creates the mess and leaves it to someone else to clean up afterwards. That's irresponsible reckless behavior. Trump is a homewrecker & nation Destroyer.
This is exactly what he did which led to the Jan 6 riots.. .and then blamed it on someone else. Mark of a fascist & mirrors what Hitler & the Nazis did as they rose to power. Trump is employing the same tactics in an attempt to undertake a fascist takeover of the United States @Lily

I think there is a better way to deal with the issue of illegal immigration in the US
But there have to be compromises from the Latino community as well. And both political parties have to mutually agree on changes to the laws.
Seems both Republicans and Democrats are at fault. Other than Trump instigating social unrest business owners who support him are at fault too because they encouraged illegal immigration to fuel their need for cheap labor and profits
It is disingenuous to blame Biden and the Democrats for the problem when a lot of illegal immigration was undertaken decades before he was President & during Republican administrations.
